Another milestone this afternoon as the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter made a successful insertion into the orbit of Mars. It was a tricky maneuver, and that has killed other spacecraft going to the Red Planet. But it's there, and looking good. As soon as the orbit is corrected for data-gathering purposes, science can begin.
